In an age where mental health is still struggling to gain its ground and the place it deserves in the metro cities, rural mental health has a long way to go.
" Gaav Tithe masanasopchar" is an initiative by Psychiatric doctors of Maharashtra to conduct awareness program on a predecided date. Every two months around 150 psychiatrists use similar pamphlets and material at different rural locations
Junglepada is a remote village located in Palghar district near Jawhar. There is no network coverage in Junglepada and basic medical facilities are a few kilometers away.
Dr Nahid Dave conducted one such program for the villagers at Junglepada.
