Akbar Peerbhoy College of Education is located at Vashi, Navi Mumbai.They have been functioning for the past 29 years.
Each year they conduct a Refreshers Program for In Service teachers. This year marked the completion of 14 such training programmes.
On the final day of the program a panel discussion was conducted wherein Social and Emotional problems faced by teachers and children both were discussed. The use of social media and internet and its consequences on life decisions and academics were the focus.
Emotional issues faced by the teachers themselves and the consequent effect of their students was also highlighted.
Dr Nahid Dave was one of the panelist along with other esteemed faculty members.
